Election of Chair and Vice-Chair <br /> 4 Laura Jensen described the process the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will <br /> 5 follow to nominate and vote on the nominees for Chair and Vice Chair. She said she will ask <br /> 6 the Board for nominations for Chair, which will need to receive a first and second. She said she <br /> 7 will then ask for a motion to close the nominations, which will also need to be first and <br /> 8 seconded. She said there will be a roll call vote to close the nominations, followed by a roll call <br /> 9 vote for the nominees. <br /> 10 Chair Price paused the process to allow Commissioner McKee to join. <br /> 11 Commissioner Fowler said she would like to make a nomination when Commissioner <br /> 12 McKee has joined. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Commissioner McKee arrived at 7:05 p.m. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Laura Jensen asked the Board for nominations for the Chair of the Board of County <br /> 17 Commissioners. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Commissioner Fowler nominated Commissioner Price to serve as Chair of the Board. <br /> 20 Commissioner McKee seconded the nomination. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 A motion was made by Commissioner Bedford, seconded by Commissioner Greene, to <br /> 23 close the nominations. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Roll call ensued <br /> 26 <br /> 27 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Laura Jensen said the Board would now take a vote on Commissioner Price as the <br /> 30 nominee to serve as Chair of the Board of County Commissioners. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Roll call ensued <br /> 33 <br /> 34 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Laura Jensen asked the Board for nominations for Vice-Chair of the Board of County <br /> 37 Commissioners. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Commissioner McKee nominated Commissioner Bedford to serve as Vice-Chair of the <br /> 40 Board.
