Chapel Hill- Carrboro City Schools <br /> Budget Resolution <br /> 2020 - 2021 <br /> Fund 8 Revenues-The following amounts are hereby appropriated for the operation of the school administrative <br /> unit in the Other Local Fund for the fiscal year beginning July 1,2020 and ending June 30,2021: <br /> 3200 State Revenue—Other Funds $ 693,989 <br /> 3700 Federal Revenue—Other Funds 2,385,958 <br /> 4100 Local Sources-General 1,848,000 <br /> 4200 Tuition&Fees 500,000 <br /> 4400 Local Sources—Unrestricted 4,380,172 <br /> 4800 Local Sources—Restricted 75,619 <br /> Total Fund 8 Revenues: $ 9,883,737 <br /> Section 14-The Superintendent is hereby authorized to: <br /> a. Transfer appropriations under the following conditions: <br /> 1. Amounts may be transferred between functions of the same purpose of the same fund with a <br /> monthly report of such transfers provided to the Board of Education and entered into the Board's <br /> minutes. <br /> 2. Amounts may be transferred between sub-functions and objects of expenditures with a monthly <br /> report of such transfers provided to the Board of Education being required. <br /> 3. Amounts may not be transferred between Fund Codes without prior approval of the Board of <br /> Education. <br /> 4. Amounts may be transferred in state or federal projects upon prior approval of the appropriate <br /> funding agency. <br /> 5. For the purpose of year-end closeout only,the Board of Education agrees to suspend the <br /> restrictions/provisions of this resolution given that a summary of all such transfers must be <br /> reported no later than December 31,2021 and any such transfers resulting from the <br /> extraordinary/unusual occurrences/circumstances must be noted and explained. <br /> Adopted this day,August 13,2020 <br /> Chairperson <br /> Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools Board of Education <br /> 21 <br />
