Page | 7 <br /> <br /> <br />3.3 Public Involvement <br />Citizens and elected representatives in Orange County have expressed support for strong programs, local regu lations, <br />and recently, the construction of a new Integrated Recycling Facility in order to meet waste reduction goals and <br />improve recycling within the Community. As planning for the SWMP gets underway, the selected proposer will help <br />provide the community with ample opportunity to influence recommendations as they are being formed. Additionally, <br />the private sector and other regional public agencies will play an important role in collecting and processing material. <br />Businesses and companies will be actively welcomed to participate in discussions and recommendations about OCWM <br />“Road to Zero Waste Plan.” <br />3.4 Contact Person, Telephone, and Email <br />Jovana Amaro, Purchasing Agent, is the point of contact for this RFP.
