Please describe any projects that you have completed successfully in the past which are similar to <br />the project you are proposing. <br /> <br />With our partner, Eagle Solar and Light (ESL), we will bring three solar projects online in FY21 totaling <br />308 kW DC solar generation. Mary Tiger and Amy Armbruster both have extensive project <br />management, energy management, and public communications and engagement experience. <br /> <br /> <br />30. If you are proposing to collaborate with other organizations on this project, please briefly describe <br />their relevant experience to the project and/or the target population. <br /> <br />As first licensed lessor under HB589, ESL has established itself as a leader in the rooftop solar space <br />as demonstrated by its receipt of “Clean Energy Innovator of the Year” in 2018 by North Carolina <br />Sustainable Energy Association (NCSEA). It now has over ten leases signed with a variety faith <br />communities and local businesses in North Carolina. Additionally, Eagle Solar has installed over 3mw <br />of solar across the Southeast, and recently received an equity investment from a group of investors <br />looking to transition from coal assets to solar. <br /> <br />31. Please describe any other relevant expertise or capacity to carry out the project in your application. <br /> <br />OWASA has been a member of this community since 1977 and has a robust Capital Improvement <br />Project (CIP) staff with expertise in engineering, project design, project management, finance, and <br />reporting. In 2019, OWASA’s CIP staff managed a budget of $26.4 million. <br /> <br /> <br />Local Economic Development <br /> <br />32. How many Orange County residents are employed by your organization? <br /> <br />OWASA employs 38 Orange County residents. <br /> <br />ESL employs three Orange County residents. <br /> <br />33.
