2 <br /> •restrict, and prohibit hunting with firearms by persons who have any blood alcohol concentration <br /> as measured by an alcosensor. For the purposes of this act, an impairing substance is defined <br /> as set forth in G.S. 20401. <br /> Section 2. Orange County may regulate, control, restrict, and prohibit hunting within 150 yards <br /> of any federal, state,or local government building,including those owned or leased by boards <br /> of education. <br /> • <br /> Section 3. A person violating an ordinance enacted under the authority of Sections 1 and 2 of <br /> this act is guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished as provided <br /> in G.S. 144, Violation of local ordinance misdemeanor.' <br /> After discussion of proposed ordinance modifications and enforcement of the ordinance <br /> amended, the group supported the proposed revisions. As a part of the approval process,this <br /> public hearing is scheduled to allow-citizen input. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: None <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board receive citizen comments <br /> and proceed as the Board decides. <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br />
