2 <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> PROCLAMATION OF RECOGNITION ON <br /> CEDAR RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM <br /> WINNING THE 2021 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP <br /> WHEREAS, on November 6, 2021, Cedar Ridge High School Women's Volleyball <br /> Team captured the North Carolina High School Athletic <br /> Association's (NCHSAA) 3A State Championship; and <br /> WHEREAS, under the guidance of Coach Fiona Cunningham, the Cedar Ridge <br /> High School Women's Volleyball Team won its first NCHSAA title; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Red Wolves completed the season with a 31-2 record; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Red Wolves brought honor upon themselves, Cedar Ridge High <br /> School, the Orange County Schools District and Orange County; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it proclaimed that the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners expresses its sincere appreciation and respect to the <br /> Cedar Ridge High School Women's Volleyball Team and Coach <br /> Fiona Cunningham for the team's outstanding achievement, and their <br /> inspiration to youth across North Carolina through their dedication, <br /> teamwork, and athletic prowess. <br /> This the 14t' day of December 2021. <br /> Renee Price, Chair <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />
