The Arts Commission moved into Suite 17 at the Eno Mill this fiscal year, requiring a <br /> $54,489 increase in rent payments. This will be offset by rent received by the Arts <br /> Commission through 5 additional artist studios, as well as gallery sales, classes, and <br /> events held by the Orange County Arts Alliance. These funds will be budgeted in the <br /> Visitors Bureau Fund, outside of the General Fund. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goals are <br /> applicable to this item: <br /> • GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY <br /> The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding <br /> necessary for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for <br /> themselves and their dependents. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: Financial impacts are included in the background information above. This <br /> budget amendment provides for the receipt of funds in FY 2021-22, which will increase the <br /> General Fund by $494,790, the Visitors Bureau Fund by $54,489, and the County Capital Fund <br /> by $131,500. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: There are no Orange County Environmental Responsibility Goal <br /> impacts associated with this item other than as noted above. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve the budget amendment <br /> for Fiscal Year 2021-22. <br />
