Legal Advertisement 37 <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> The Orange County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, <br /> December 14, 2021 at 7:00 PM for the purpose of giving all interested residents an <br /> opportunity to speak for or against the items below. Due to current public health <br /> concerns, the hearing will be held on-line and pre-registration is required. <br /> The meeting will be live streamed at the following web address for those who wish to only <br /> view the meeting: www.orangecountync.gov/967/Meeting-Videos <br /> To register to speak at the public hearing, please send an email to <br /> ocpubliccomment@orangecountync.gov no later than 3:00 PM on the day of the hearing <br /> and indicate you wish to speak during the hearing. <br /> When submitting the request to speak, include the following: <br /> • The date of the meeting <br /> • The number and title of the agenda item (from the agenda that will be <br /> published on December 10) you wish to speak on <br /> • Your name, address, email and phone number <br /> • The phone number must be the number you plan to call in from if <br /> participating by phone <br /> After registering to speak, an email that contains instructions and a link to sign up to <br /> access the hearing will be sent to the email address used to register. <br /> If you do not have access to an internet-enabled computer/device and would like to <br /> phone in to access the hearing, please call the office of the Clerk to the Board after <br /> December 10, 2021 at 919-245-2130 and a staff member will provide you with the call-in <br /> number. <br /> Public Hearing Items: <br /> 1. Amendments Orange County Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map <br /> (FLUM) and to the Zoning Atlas: In accordance with the provisions of Section 2.3 <br /> Comprehensive Plan Amendments and Section 2.8 Zoning Atlas and Unified <br /> Development Ordinance Amendments of the Unified Development Ordinance, the <br /> Board of County Commissioners has initiated amendments to the Orange County <br /> Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map (FLUM) and Zoning Atlas in the Eno <br /> Economic Development District. The Eno Economic Development District is located <br /> in the eastern portion of Orange County in the vicinity of Interstate 85, Highway 70, <br /> and Old NC Highway 10. <br /> The proposed amendments affect 112.2 acres comprised of 34 parcels. The <br /> proposal is to change the current Future Land Use classification FROM Economic <br /> Development Activity Node TO 10-Year Transition Activity Node.
