He said this is happening across the country. He resumed the <br /> PowerPoint presentation: <br /> Slide #6 <br /> Emergency Medical Services <br /> • Mitigation Measures <br /> • Reassigning staff to ensure coverage with highest demands <br /> Utilizing EMS administrative personnel <br /> Exploring additional BLS opportunities <br /> working olosely with regional partners <br /> • Engaging franchised services <br /> 37 <br /> Chair Price expressed appreciation for everything the first responders do. She said the <br /> county will continue to collaborate with first responders on broadband, and that she would work <br /> with the County Manager to create a recognition program for first responders and public safety <br /> officers. <br /> Chair Price asked for a motion to recess for the purposes of a break prior to continuing <br /> to the work session. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Fowler, seconded by Commissioner McKee, to <br /> recess the meeting for 3 minutes. <br /> Roll call ensued <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />
