Dan <br /> currently serves as the Program Director for the newly formed Public Entity Analytics Group. His <br /> reinsurance background involved addressing the risk transfer and risk financing needs of national, <br /> super-regional, and single state insurance companies, MGA-driven programs, as well as public entity <br /> pools. His expertise spans from monoline placements to multi-line needs (liability, property, and <br /> workers' compensation). In the past 10 years, Dan has dedicated his time to the (re)insurance needs of <br /> public entity pools, including introducing them to analytics-driven solutions, in which his clientele <br /> presence was nationwide. <br /> Dan has spent his entire 20+ year career in the insurance industry as a reinsurance broker. Prior to <br /> joining Alliant, Dan worked for global reinsurance brokers Guy Carpenter and JLT Re/Towers Perrin, <br /> starting his career with EW Blanch. While always a student of the business, he offers extensive <br /> experience and expertise in designing and placement of reinsurance programs for risk bearing entities <br /> such as insurance companies and public entity pools.As part of this background, Dan has worked with <br /> various reinsurance analytics offerings, including actuarially-driven structuring, target pricing and <br /> simulation capabilities, as well as portfolio management tools such as catastrophe modeling. <br /> Dan holds a bachelor's degree in Insurance and Risk Management from Indiana State University, as <br /> well as an Associate of Reinsurance (AReT`") designation from the American Institute for Chartered <br /> Property Casualty Underwriters. He is also a licensed Property&Casualty retail broker in several states. <br /> Away from work, Dan enjoys spending his time with his family, including his three kids' sports and <br /> hobby adventures.
