From his vantage point in Charlotte, North Carolina, Mark will expand Alliant's already dominant position on the west coast across the country and throughout the eastern seaboard. Mark and his large team of industry specific subject matter experts will assist clients in managing all aspects of their risk profile. Mark is a leading figure in the public entity space and is highly regarded by public agencies across the nation, working with municipalities, state governments, counties, special districts, educational institutions and government pools to help public clients manage risk in the most cost efficient manner while ensuring the unique challenges of a public entities' complex risks are met. Mark has been in the insurance industry for 30+ years in various executive leadership positions. Most recently, he served as the Managing Director of the North America public entity practice for two global brokerage firms. Mark is a frequent presenter at various insurance and business forums and has been recognized on numerous occasions by Business Insurance Magazine as one of the industry's top Power Brokers. Mark holds the CIC and CPCU designations. He graduated with honors from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in management and marketing. When Mark is not engaging with clients or broking business, you can find him boating, deep sea fishing, and engaged in other sports related activities, as well as spending time with family and friends.
