Independently contracted Subject Matter Experts (SME) are utilized whenever necessary <br /> due to needed expertise or specialty that is not employed by Alliant. Examples of this include the need <br /> to industrial hygiene review and or environmental compliance. Compliance assistance typically consist <br /> of a review of written or required programs, management interviews, physical inspections, and the <br /> provision of a gap analysis or report. <br /> Training—We provide various training services that the County can use to educate staff and executives <br /> about the risk exposures that exist within your member institutions. These resources are free of cost <br /> and we have worked rigorously to streamline these services as much as possible. Training is available <br /> in a variety of property and casualty-related loss control topics that include: <br /> Water intrusion prevention and response. <br /> Winter facility preparation for preventing freeze-related losses. <br /> How to perform building roof inspections. <br /> Disaster scenario and business interruption desktop exercises. <br /> Insurance Requirements in Contracts (IRIC)—The IRIC Manual is available to you electronically <br /> and in hardcover. It was designed as a tool for the procurement and risk management <br /> departments to assist them with evaluating risk exposures and the required insurance <br /> language/minimum limits. It details recommended insurance requirements for vendors <br /> working with our clients. The manual provides guidance to your staff involved in securing <br /> contracts and is offered at no additional cost.Alliant is prepared to offer full or half-day training <br /> presentations to the County on the concepts contained in our manual. <br /> We can provide the County with live Insurance 101 training sessions, to foster education and <br /> knowledge about the insurance industry and these sessions will be tailored to your needs and requests. <br /> Training sessions are on an as-need basis. <br /> 13.3 Claim Services to assist with auditing to be conducted up to a quarterly basis, dispute resolution or <br /> coverage interpretation. <br /> Alliant fully understands that the true value of any insurance contract can only be determined by its <br /> response to loss.
