DocuSign Envelope ID: 17405374-3F52-4EE3-A40B-COBD1 EOB0058 <br /> fi. <br /> R ESPONSE TO RFQ#5328 FOR INSURANCE BROKER AND RM CONSULTING SERVICES <br /> ORANGE COUNTY,NC I SEPTEMBER 30,2021 <br /> III QUALIFICATIONS <br /> We will work with the County to develop a tailored loss control plan from the onset of our relationship. <br /> As a part of our service plan, we will facilitate an initial consultation with a loss control professional to <br /> review the County's current loss control activities and strategy. Criteria that we will use to evaluate and <br /> assess include current insurance and safety programs, loss history and trends, management goals and <br /> objectives, past surveys, survey recaps, and risk management hours allocated to managing each line <br /> of risk. As a result of this consultation, we can determine where our loss control personnel can best <br /> supplement and complement the work the County is already providing. Prior authorization will be <br /> obtained from the County before the commencement of services.We have listed below additional loss <br /> control services which will be made available to the County if selected as your partner broker. <br /> Property Appraisals— Many brokerages have relationships with property appraisal firms and can help <br /> organize appraisal services. Some firms, like Alliant, that broker a significant amount of property <br /> insurance maintain their own appraisal services as a value added benefit to our insureds. Alliant <br /> Business Services (ABS) offers appraisal services to all our public entity clients and employs <br /> independent licensed appraisers who are trained in the appraisal of public entity properties utilizing <br /> Marshall Swift Appraisal Software. <br /> Should the County elect to participate in APIP, all buildings valued at $5 million or more will be <br /> appraised on a rotating 5 year schedule at no additional cost. Should the County choose an insurer <br /> other than APIP appraisals are still available for an additional cost but accessing pre-negotiated rates <br /> with reputable valuation companies including Duff& Phelps, CBIZ, Asset Works and others. <br /> Upon completion of the appraisal, a Value Comparison Report (VCR) and building detail report <br /> reviewed by your Alliant service team will be made available to the County and the new updated values <br /> are then downloaded into Alliant's database.Our goal with our proactive appraisal system is to capture <br /> accurate replacement values for all structures appraised in an effort to correctly insure the County's <br /> assets. <br /> Items below are part of our Risk Control services. Based on our knowledge of your program, we will <br /> include up to 35 hours of services at no additional cost. <br /> Risk Control Surveys — Risk Control surveys are utilized to identify and quantify client property <br /> exposures by providing C.O.P.E. (construction, occupancy, protection, and exposure) and natural <br /> catastrophe data, life safety and risk quality ratings, recommendations, and facility photographs. <br /> Fire Prevention and Property Conservation Consultation — Our risk control professionals have <br /> advanced skills in property conservation and hands-on experience with fire protection systems. <br /> Consulting services include: <br /> Storage Advising <br /> Sprinkler System Analysis <br /> Pre-Construction Advising <br /> Security Consultation <br /> - 25- ENO, <br />
