Broker will have the ability and <br /> commitment to provide the County with renewal placements in a timely manner, <br /> County's internal time requirements and maintenance of coverage. Broker will secure d provide <br /> Best ratings of every carrier for which a coverage proposal is sent. <br /> We have previously articulated our understanding of the County's relationship with the North Carolina <br /> Association of County Commissioners (NCACC). You have worked with our proposed team for many <br /> years and we have demonstrated a keen understanding of the coverages offered by NCACC to include <br /> both the advantages and disadvantages of the offered program. We have identified many deficiencies <br /> in the NCACC offering, many of which have been rectified. These changes have resulted in significant <br /> improvement to your program resulting in a decrease to the risk of financial loss for the County. <br /> Additional changes are recommended and will be discussed later in our response. When NCACC was <br /> not able to meet the minimum insurance requirements of the County, we were able to place stand- <br /> alone policies (cyber and environmental) to fill the gap. From a coverage standpoint, our unique <br /> understanding of where you were when your proposed team was first engaged, where you are today, <br /> and where you should ultimately be makes us a perfect fit to continue to be your risk management <br /> partner! <br /> We have evidenced our ability to evaluate the County's current insurance program as well as make <br /> appropriate advantageous changes in our response to Section IV, Item 5 of this RFQ.Alliant also agrees <br /> to provide the County with renewal placements within a timeframe that is conducive to your internal <br /> time requirements and maintenance of coverage. In fact, we currently have clients whom we provide <br /> renewal proposals as much as sixty (60) to ninety (90) days in advance of their policy expiration date. <br /> We also confirm that each of our proposals to the County with provide the financial security of each <br /> of the proposed insurance companies in the form of their AM Best rating. <br /> 8. Broker shall maintain office hours consistent with the County's core business hours : 11 <br /> 11 • •- available for emergent • • •urs. Broker shall respond to messages <br /> as soon as possible and always within one business day. <br /> Alliant understands and complies.The County's account service team will be always be available to the <br /> County during the hours of 8:00 AM — 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
