<br /> Alliant's Public Entity Practice was established in 1977 when our Chairman and CEO, Tom Corbett,
<br /> opened our Newport Beach office with the goal of providing highly successful strategies, services, and
<br /> products for the public sector. Today, Tom Corbett is still involved in the service and brokerage of our
<br /> public entity clientele, and continues to make sure the proper resources are being developed and
<br /> utilized across the entire public entity practice. His continued involvement with the public sector
<br /> provides us with a top-down emphasis on our public entity clients that is not offered by other firms.
<br /> Over the years, this focus has created talented service teams with the ability to share and expand their
<br /> public entity experience across the country. We are now a nationally recognized leader in this
<br /> specialized market,with our Public Entity Practice being our largest specialty division and representing
<br /> more than 20% of our company's annual revenue. This leadership position is evident in Alliant's
<br /> extensive client list,which includes more than 10,000 public entities; many with significant catastrophe
<br /> exposures similar to the County's windstorm and flood exposure. Our public entity clients range in size
<br /> from small regional entities to large public entity pools such as PRISM (formerly known as CSAC EIA)
<br /> —the largest public entity pool in the nation. Historically, Alliant has been known as the premier public
<br /> entity broker in the State of California; however, we have expanded our reach and now represent
<br /> entities located from Alaska to Florida to Maine (48 states in all). These clients include:

<br /> Detroit, Oklahoma City, Austin, Charter County of Wayne (MI), San Francisco, Athens-Clarke
