Alliant currently
provides brokerage and risk management consulting services to public entities throughout North
America. Our culture is one built on superior customer service, entrepreneurial spirit, and creativity.
Our proposal details our ability to exceed all expectations outlined in your RFP. Several compelling
reasons to select Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. as you broker and risk management partner include:
Relevant Experience and Team Expertise: Alliant's Public Entity Division, and specifically the
proposed service team, have developed a tremendous amount of expertise working with municipalities
and other public entities across the nation. This relevant experience and expertise allows us to design,
implement, and manage insurance solutions that have helped some of the largest public entities in the
country save millions of premium dollars annually, while providing the broadest level of coverage
available. We proudly provide brokerage services to over 10,000 public entity clients, including over
two thousand city and county clients. Through this experience we have developed significant
knowledge regarding the challenges our clients face, and we are able to offer the best solutions for
our clients' methods of risk transfer.
Public Entity, Local, and County Specific Experience: The Alliant Public Entity Practice was created
over 40 years ago, and over time, has developed tailored and proprietary insurance and risk
management programs for our clients operating within the public sector. We provide services to over
10,000 public entities in over 45 states, many with significant catastrophe exposures, including
windstorm, hail, flood, and earthquake. Your proposed service team, and the bulk of the day-to-day
servicing, is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Later in our proposal we will identify each team member
and their respective role, most of whom you know well due to our many years of having worked with
the County.
Creativity and Program Design Innovation: We do not believe in simply renewing our clients'
programs and placements "as-is", unless that option has been thoroughly reviewed and determined
to be in your best interest. Instead, we constantly monitor our clients' exposures, financial status,
overall market conditions, changes in legislation, underwriters' changing risk appetites, as well as
numerous other factors so that we can proactively make recommendations to enhance your program
structure, policy terms and conditions, etc. We will propose various risk financing alternatives running
each option through a thorough Total Cost of Risk (TCOR) analysis to determine the best solution for
you. This annual process allows us to take advantage of market opportunities that are currently
available while also planning strategically for the long term. As a result, our programs and placements
have stood the test of time over numerous market cycles.
- 5- Affiant
