(Alliant) team, thank you for the <br /> opportunity to respond to Orange County's (the County) RFQ for Insurance <br /> Broker and Risk Management Consulting Services. We believe we are uniquely <br /> qualified to serve as your risk management partner. Alliant has a long history of <br /> providing brokerage and risk consulting services to public entities throughout <br /> the country; in particular, those with unique exposures similar to those of the <br /> County. Our depth of experience, seasoned staff, client centric service model, <br /> proprietary products and technology, as well as a thorough understanding of <br /> your program will eliminate the transitional learning curve, allowing our teams <br /> to cohesively hit the ground running. <br /> Our previous employer, Willis Towers Watson, has had the privilege of serving <br /> as your broker for the past 8+ years. Due to the firm's ongoing internal <br /> changes, I and over 40 other public entity and pooling associates felt the need <br /> to transfer to another broker, Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. We believe that the <br /> move was in the best long-term interest of our clients. As has been the case for <br /> many years, I will continue to be the lead on the Orange County team <br /> supported by the same cast of professionals that you have come to know well <br /> over the years. The consistency of the team guarantees that you will receive the <br /> same quality of service to which you deserve and have become accustomed. <br /> As Managing Director of the Alliant Public Entity, Education & Pooling Practice, I <br /> will ensure that all of the firm's resources, proprietary products, services, and <br /> product line experts are deployed as necessary.
