Re- <br /> adoption of these Ordinance sections is recommended out of an abundance of <br /> caution due to the statutory change in the requirements for adoption of <br /> ordinances with misdemeanor penalties. <br /> Sec.4-42.-Control of dangerous animals; security dogs. <br /> (h)(4)Any violation of this section may be a misdemeanor and subject to a fine of$500.00 or <br /> imprisonment of not more than 30 days. <br /> Sec.4-133. - Enforcement. <br /> (b)(1) Criminal Offenses—A violation of any provision of this Division constitutes a Class 3 Misdemeanor <br /> and shall be punishable as provided in North Carolina General Statutes§ 14-4.
