She said the county has comprehensive land use regulations addressing many <br /> 5 environmental topics and has worked hard to educate local communities on the environmental <br /> 6 management program. She said there have been issues associated with the upkeep of <br /> 7 property and the county can do better. She said issues involve unkempt yards, chemicals, etc., <br /> 8 and some situations need to be addressed by more than one department, and she asked if the <br /> 9 County Attorney and Planning Supervisor would prepare a report outlining available options to <br /> 10 the county to address such nuisance issues. She said it is important to consider how <br /> 11 regulations will be enforced, and who will enforce them. She said she would like to see <br /> 12 departments work together to develop a comprehensive solution to local residents' needs. <br /> 13 Commissioner Bedford reminded Chair Price to ask for volunteers to serve on the <br /> 14 committee that will look at the possible restructuring of the Climate Council.
