25 <br /> 1 The Board discussed the number of Commissioners' assignments on the Family <br /> 2 Success Alliance (FSA) Advisory Council. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 BACKGROUND: <br /> 5 At the March 16, 2021 Business Meeting, Commissioner Jamezetta Bedford petitioned the <br /> 6 Board to review the number of Commissioner Liaisons to the FSA Advisory Council. It was also <br /> 7 mentioned there are no liaisons to the Affordable Housing Advisory Board. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 There are two Commissioner Liaison positions on the FSA Advisory Council, currently filled by <br /> 10 Commissioner Bedford and Commissioner Sally Greene, who will both serve until December <br /> 11 2021. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Commissioner Bedford introduced the item. She said she does not think the Family <br /> 14 Success Alliance Advisory Council needs two liaisons. <br /> 15 Commissioner Greene agreed with Commissioner Bedford. <br /> 16 Bonnie Hammersley said she does not see a need to have two commissioners on the <br /> 17 Family Success Alliance Advisory Council. <br /> 18 Chair Price said the change would be put on a future consent agenda. <br /> 19 The Board discussed the announced departure of a staff member, Sustainability <br /> 20 Coordinator Brennan Bouma, for a new opportunity with the Town of Chapel Hill. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 A motion was made by Commissioner Bedford, seconded by Commissioner Richards, to <br /> 23 adjourn the meeting at 10:16 p.m. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Roll call ensued <br /> 26 <br /> 27 VOTE: UNANMIOUS <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Renee Price, Chair <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Laura Jensen <br /> 34 Clerk to the Board <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Submitted for approval by Laura Jensen, Clerk to the Board. <br />
