a~ <br />• Obtain input from internal stakeholders, including Orange County Health Director, <br />Risk Management & Training Coordinator, and Health Department Division <br />Directors to identify volunteer roles and training needs. <br />• Collaborate with Orange County Chapter of the American Red Cross to develop <br />Disaster Shelter, Mass Caze, and Disaster Health Services training for MRC.. <br />• Collaborate with the Orange County Department of Social Services and the Orange <br />County Chapter of the American Red Cross to develop Special Needs Shelter <br />Training, <br />13. Seventy-five percent of volunteer nurses (approximately 30) and eighty percent of <br />pharmacists (approximately 8) who,join the MRC will attend, Disaster Shelter, Mass Care, <br />and Disaster Health Services training by December 31, 2003. <br />Second Ouarter° Yeaz One Funding <br />1. Develop MRC activation and deployment plan in conjunction with Orange County Health <br />Director, OCHD Division Directors, Orange County Department of Emergency <br />Management, IJNC Health Care System Disaster Committee, and Orange County American <br />Red Cross by January 31, 2004. <br />• MRC activation and deployment plan will be based on the Incident Command <br />System. <br />• MRC volunteers will undergo basic Incident Command System training. <br />• Activation and Deployment plans will be developed for events with and without <br />warning to include activation triggers, alert/notification system, request from <br />agency/agencies for activation of MRC, assessment of type and kind of volunteers <br />12 <br />
