This year the local match <br /> contribution for the PY 2020 HOME award was$84,334. <br /> • HOME Match liability is incurred as HOME Entitlement funds are disbursed. In PY 2020 (July 1, <br /> 2020—June 30, 2021), $161,697.91 in HOME Entitlement funds were disbursed, incurring <br /> $40,424.48 in Match liability.The actual amount of Match funds disbursed for PY 2020 was <br /> $44,799.48. <br /> • HUD officially tracks Match liability and contribution on the Federal fiscal year(October to <br /> September), not on Orange County HOME Consortium's Program Year(July to June). This can lead <br /> to a mismatch in how Match liability is tracked by HUD versus the Consortium. <br /> o In Federal fiscal year 2020 (October 1, 2020—September 30, 2021), a total of$209,697.91 <br /> in HOME Entitlement funds was disbursed (the$161,697.91 reported above, plus an <br /> additional $48,000), incurring$52,424.48 in Match liability(the $40,424.48 reported <br /> above, plus an additional $12,000). <br /> o The actual amount of Match funds disbursed for Federal fiscal year 2020 was$56,799.48 <br /> (the $44,799.48 reported above, plus an additional $12,000). <br /> Other Resources Leveraged <br /> • Orange County was awarded North Carolina Housing Finance Agency Essential Single-Family <br /> Rehabilitation Loan Pool (SFRLP)funds to rehabilitate households that are at or below 80%of AMI. <br /> The County received $190,000 in SFRLP 2020 funds and also contributed $50,000 in local match. <br /> • Orange County was awarded North Carolina Housing Finance Agency Urgent Repair Program <br /> funds for emergency home repairs and modifications.The County received $100,000 in URP 2020 <br /> funds and also contributed $40,000 in local match. <br /> Fiscal Year Summary—HOME Match <br /> 1.
