She said students need to have similar <br /> motivation in the K-12 years. <br /> Commissioner Fowler said she is in agreement with most of the ideas shared at the <br /> evening, especially regarding culturally relevant materials and opportunities for all. She said it <br /> is important to have high expectations for all students. <br /> Dr. Meghan Doyle said there is a great deal of research based strategies that high <br /> performing schools follow, and much is influenced by the leadership of the school office and the <br /> district office.
