Many of these students and their <br />families face financial barriers and would otherwise, not hav e access <br />to the arts. Through TAC’s partnership with the Orange County <br />School district, we prov ide a 5-day in-classroom residency and a <br />school field trip for a liv e performance to students at all four Title 1 <br />Elementary Schools (New Hope, Central, Efland-Cheeks and Grady <br />Brown Elementary Schools). <br />Hav ing run for 40 years, ArtsCamp is one of TAC’s oldest programs. <br />W ith ov er 160 arts education classes ov er 11 weeks, the program <br />consists of week-long summer camp sessions for students entering <br />grades K-12. All camps are taught by professional teaching artists <br />from the Triangle area. <br />Afterschool Arts Immersion (AAI) prov ides arts enrichment and <br />social emotional support during afterschool hours for youth in <br />grades K-5.
