Transition Area appointee. <br /> The Board agreed by consensus to appoint John Garret Baker to the ETJ BOCC <br /> Appointee position. <br /> Commissioner Bedford suggested Erle Smith for the Northern Transition Area position. <br /> She said he lives in the Carrboro city limits, but as the position has been vacant so long the <br /> Board can fill the position with someone who does not meet the preferred qualifications. <br /> Tara May said it is her understanding that the BOCC would pass a resolution and the <br /> town would vote on it. <br /> The Board agreed by consensus on Erle Smith. <br />
