Applicants <br /> will be selected from our county "Applicant Interest List" for a condensed training and if <br /> the applicant successfully completes the training, they would be recommended for <br /> appointment. Therefore, when an applicant is recommended for appointment, it would <br /> initially be for a one-year preliminary term and their training will have already been <br /> completed. <br /> Chair Price reviewed the process for making appointments. She said the Board would <br /> have the opportunity to discuss making changes to the process. <br /> Tara May introduced the item. <br /> Commissioner Bedford nominated MaryLou Gelblum for appointment to the Adult Care <br /> Home Community Advisory Committee. <br /> The Board agreed by consensus. <br /> Commissioner Fowler asked for clarification on the appointment of a different member <br /> of the committee. <br /> Tara May clarified the expiration date for the member. <br />
