Change in BOCC Meeting Schedule for 2021 <br /> The Board considered changes to the Board of Commissioners' meeting calendar for <br /> 2021. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County Commissioners must <br /> fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in the Meeting <br /> Schedule. <br /> There is one proposed Meeting Calendar change for 2021, as it relates to Board of <br /> Commissioners' meetings currently scheduled to occur in-person in 2021. Due to current public <br /> health concerns, it is proposed that the Board of Commissioners conduct Virtual Board <br /> Meetings during the months of September and October 2021. <br /> Members of the Board of Commissioners would be participating in the meetings remotely. As in <br /> prior meetings, members of the public would be able to view and listen to the meeting via online <br />
