010100.6 –SUMMARY OF WORK <br /> <br />Project Manual for Motor Pool Main Building Roof Replacement <br />Orange County, Hillsborough, NC <br />Prepared by Atlas Engineering, Inc., 551-A Pylon Drive – Raleigh, NC 27606 <br />August 2021 <br />1.08 DESIGNER’S SITE VISITS <br /> <br />A. Designer or site representative will perform periodic visits to the site to observe Contractor <br />activities and note non-conformance with the specifications to the Owner and Contractor. Non- <br />conformance items must be corrected by the Contractor prior to approval of payment. <br /> <br />B. Contractor shall cooperate with the representatives and personnel of the Designer to provide safe <br />means and facilities for the Designer to observe all parts of the work for the purpose of <br />determining conformance/non-conformance with the specifications. <br /> <br />C. Contractor must notify the Designer a minimum of 48 hours prior to specific activities for which <br />the Designer wishes to be present. The applicable activities will be defined by the Designer <br />during the Pre-Construction Meeting, but are anticipated to include first day of removal and <br />replacement on main roof areas or installation of specific details.
