Provide labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary for installation of sealants required as <br />a part of the installation of the roofing system and metal flashings as shown in the detail drawings <br />and as required by the roof system manufacturer. <br /> <br />B. Remove and replace existing sealant and install new backing material and sealant joint around <br />opening perimeters at windows and louvers on the south elevation. <br /> <br />C. Provide additional labor and materials necessary to properly complete the work specified. <br /> <br />1.02 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> <br />A. Qualifications of Manufacturer: Products used in this work shall be produced by manufacturers <br />regularly engaged in the manufacture of similar items and with a history of successful production <br />acceptable to the Engineer. <br /> <br />B. Installer shall be an experienced installer of the specified products. In acceptance or rejection of <br />the work of this section, the Owner will make no allowance for lack of skill on the part of the <br />workmen. <br /> <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />A. Submit product data and SDS for each product listed in this specification section and others <br />required by the sealant manufacturer for a complete installation of the work. <br /> <br />1.04 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br /> <br />A. Deliver sealant materials and accessories in manufacturer’s original protective containers with <br />labels intact and legible. Comply with manufacturer’s published instructions for storage and <br />handling. <br /> <br />B. Store materials in dry protected areas, on clean, raised platforms with securely anchored weather <br />protective coverings in accordance with Section 016000. <br /> <br />C. Store flammable products away from sparks or open flames. <br /> <br />D.
