Provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary for fabrication and installation of <br />metal flashings, gutters, downspouts/straps, cleats, counterflashings, wall panels, support framing, <br />trim, and accessories, as specified herein and as required by detail drawings. <br /> <br />B. Coordinate work of this section with work of Sections 024110, 061000, and 073113. <br /> <br />1.02 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> <br />A. Standards: Comply with standards specified in this section as they apply to the provision and <br />installation of components specified herein. <br /> <br />B. Qualifications of Manufacturer/Fabricator: <br />1. Products used in the work included in this section shall be produced by manufacturers <br />regularly engaged in the manufacturer of specified items and with a history of successful <br />production for a minimum of 10 years in the United States. <br />2. Sheet metal flashings and trim must be fabricated in accordance with the requirements of <br />SMACNA and the NRCA with adequate fabrication equipment to provide required profiles <br />and prevent damage to pre-finish. <br />3. Shop-fabricated perimeter metal flashing configurations must be tested and meet the <br />requirements of ANSI/SPRI ES-1 <br /> <br />C. Qualifications of Installer: <br />1. The roofing installer must have experience installing sheetmetal on projects of equal to <br />greater size, for a minimum of five (5) years <br />2. The roof system installer must have adequate number of skilled workmen, thoroughly <br />trained and experience in the necessary craft. Workers performing installation must be led <br />by a job foreman with a minimum of three (3) year’s experience in the type of installation <br />specified whenever work installed will become part of a warranted roof system (including <br />related flashing work). In determination of acceptance or rejection of work, no allowance <br />will be made for lack of skill on the part of the workmen. <br />3. The roofing foreman must be capable of communicating fluently in English or a full-time <br />translator must be provided and identified by the roofing installer. The translator must be on <br />site at all times that the crew and foreman are present. <br />4.
