41 <br /> 1 David Stancil said most is grant funding, and not county dollars. He said most is for the <br /> 2 phase two Cane Creek Reservoir land acquisition segment. He said the construction amount in <br /> 3 this case is more likely to be bridges, privacy fences, etc., and will not be for building trail. <br /> 4 Commissioner Bedford also said since the trail will have to cross Interstate-40, staff <br /> 5 should coordinate with Craig Benedict, Planning Director, and transit planners in Chapel Hill. <br /> 6 David Stancil said one of the members of the MST Staff Working Group is from the <br /> 7 Planning Department so there have been discussions on different ways to cross Interstate 40 <br /> 8 and 85, and the most viable has been identified. <br /> 9 Chair Price thanked all involved, and is excited to see the progress being made. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 8. North Carolina Governor's Highway Safety Program: Orange County Sheriff's Office <br /> 28 Traffic Safety Project and Approval of Budget Amendment#1-A <br /> 29 The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, recognizing federal <br /> 30 funding for traffic safety projects to the Sheriff's Office; approved Budget Amendment#1-A; and <br /> 31 authorized the Chair to sign the resolution. <br /> 32 c. Approval of Resolution Amending the Orange County FY 2021-2022 HOME Program <br /> 33 Design <br /> 34 The Board authorized the Chair to sign a resolution amending a Board resolution adopted <br /> 35 May 4, 2021, which authorized the Orange County FY 2021-2022 HOME Program Design. <br /> 36 d. Request for Road Additions to the State Maintained Secondary Road System for Farm <br /> 37 Gate Drive, Fox Hill Farm Drive, Still Meadow Lane, and Cedar Stone Way in the Fox <br /> 38 Hill Farm Central Subdivision <br /> 39 The Board made a recommendation to the North Carolina Department of Transportation <br /> 40 (NCDOT), and the North Carolina Board of Transportation (NC BOT), concerning a petition to <br /> 41 add Farm Gate Drive, Fox Hill Farm Drive, Still Meadow Lane, and Cedar Stone Way in the Fox <br /> 42 Hill Farm Central Subdivision to the State Maintained Secondary Road System. <br /> 43 e. Easements for Valley Forge Road Construction with Town of Hillsborough <br /> 44 The Board approved a temporary construction easement and two drainage utility easements <br /> 45 at 401 Valley Forge Road, Hillsborough, NC to the Town of Hillsborough in order to facilitate the <br /> 46 installation and maintenance of drainage improvements adjacent to the Valley Forge Road right <br /> 47 of way. <br /> 48 <br /> 49 9.
