11 <br /> 5307 Grant Application: FY22 <br /> Total $ 331,406 <br /> Federal $ 165,703 <br /> Local $ 165,703 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 Theo Letman, Orange County Transportation Services Director, reviewed the <br /> 3 background information for the item. He reviewed the various uses for the grant funding <br /> 4 including marketing, office supplies, administrative funds, etc. He said these funds help the <br /> 5 county support urban area transportation. He said these funds will increase resident access to <br /> 6 healthcare, employment, shopping, etc. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 A motion was made by Commissioner Greene, seconded by Commissioner McKee, to <br /> 9 open the public hearing on the proposed grant application. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Roll call ensued <br /> 12 <br /> 13 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 14 <br /> 15 A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Fowler, to <br /> 16 close the public hearing. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Roll call ensued <br /> 19 <br /> 20 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Commissioner Richards asked if the application forms will be the same as FY21-22. <br /> 23 Theo Letman said the forms and application are the same every year. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Fowler, to <br /> 26 approve the Urbanized Area Formula Grant application for FY 2022 in the total amount of <br /> 27 $331,406 with a local match total of$165,703 to be provided when necessary; approve and <br /> 28 authorize the Chair to sign the Local Share Certification for Funding form and other associated <br /> 29 documents; and authorize the County Attorney to review and complete the necessary 2022 <br /> 30 certifications and assurances when they are received. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Roll call ensued <br /> 33 <br /> 34 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 35 <br /> 36 6.
