Building Inspection Division -Report and Proposed Action {9:45-10:05) <br />The Board will receive an update on building inspection activity and to consider establishing three new Code <br />Compliance Officer (Building Inspector} positions effective January 1, 2004 with a time limited ending date <br />of t«~o years from the date of initial hire and one new Plans Examiner position in the Planning and <br />Inspections Department to address inspections and plans review workload, effective January 1, 2004; and <br />authorize $175,00 appropriation from the County's General Fund fund balance. <br />e. Homestead Road and High School Road Safety Task Force (10:05-10:20} <br />The Board will consider creating an intergovernmental and community task force to address traffic, <br />pedestrian, and bicycle safety in the area of Homestead Road and High School Road; and appoint associated <br />members. In addition, fon~ard this item to the other local governments for their representatives. <br />f.
