The Board will consider granting an electrical utility easement to Duke Power for the Fairview Park <br />Community Policing Center. <br />c. Bid Award: Construction of Carrboro Plaza Recvclina Site <br />The Board will consider awarding a bid to C.J. Mclsaac Construction of Eden, in the amount of $41,900, <br />to construct adrop-off recycling center at Carrboro Plaza. <br />d. Reappointments to Information Technoloav Advisory Committee <br />The Board will consider three reappointments to the Information Technology Advisory Committee. <br />e. Appointments to Little River Park Advisory Committee (LRPACI <br />The Board will consider extending by one year the term ending dates for all members of the Little River <br />Park Advisory Committee, and the appointment of two members to the committee. <br />f. Minutes <br />The Board will consider approval and/or correction of minutes from the following meetings: April 30, 2001 <br />budget work session; May 15, 2001 regular meeting; June 19, 2001 regular meeting; June 21, 2001 budget work <br />session; June 25, 2001 regular meeting; and, August 14, 2001 regular meeting. <br />9. ITEMS FOR DECISION -REGULAR AGENDA <br />a. Efland Sewer Rules and Richmond Hills Project (7:20-7:45) <br />The Board will consider amending adopted Efland Sewer rules related to affordable housing projects and <br />instituting those provisions through a sewer agreement and a subdivision amendment for Richmond Hills. <br />b. Reaister of Deeds Automation (7:45-7:55) <br />The Board will consider authorizing the completion of the Register of Deeds office automation project. <br />c. Approve Fundina for Initial Site Work at Chapel Hill-Carrboro Citv Schools (CHCCSI Elementary <br />School #9 at Meadowmont (7:55-8:10) <br />The Board will receive an update on the status of elementary school #9 at Meadowmont and consider <br />allocating November 2001 bond funds for initial site work. <br />d. County Limited Enalish Proficiency Policy and Action Plan (8:10-8:30) <br />The Board will consider adopting a policy to eliminate or reduce the maximum extent possible limited <br />English proficiency as a barrier to accessing County government services. <br />e. Reaulated Recyclable Materials Ordinance (8:30-8:50) <br />The Board will consider adopting a Regulated Recyclable Materials ordinance. <br />f. Birdsona Subdivision Preliminary Plan (8:50-9:05) <br />The Board will consider a preliminary plan for the proposed Birdsong subdivision. <br />g Fox Hill Farm Central Preliminary Plan (9:05-9:20) <br />The Board will consider a preliminary plan for the proposed Fox Hill Farm Central subdivision. <br />h. Appointment to Hillsborouah Board of Adjustment (9:20-9:25) <br />The Board will consider an appointment to the Hillsborough Board of Adjustment. <br />10. REPORTS <br />a. Southeast Hiah Soeed Rail Tier I Draft Environmental Imoact Statement (9:25-9:40) <br />The Board will receive a report on the Southeast High Speed Rail project and potential impacts on Orange <br />County. <br />b. Emeraencv Assistance Proarams (9:40-9:50) <br />The Board will receive a draft report on the increasing emergency needs of low-income families. <br />11. APPOINTMENTS <br />12. MINUTES <br />13.
