Cbarge to the Water and Sewer Boundary Task FOrce <br />Since the mid-1980's, soveral attempts to define watei and sewer <br />service boundaries for Omngc County arts the tnuincipalides of <br />Chapel Hill, Cemboro and Hilisbomtigh have beev undertaken. N <br />1994, a Task Force was formed consisting of elected officials <br />from Carrboro, Chapel Hill, Hillsborough and Orange Cmmb. as <br />well sa nvo membere of the Orange Water and Sewer Authority <br />' Boats of Directors. The. charge to the Water and Sewer Service <br />Boundary Task Force is e[rachW,as Appendix B. <br />B. Purpose afWater and Sewee Bowdary Agreement <br />L To provide a comprehensive; Cowry-aide systav of <br />service areas far future utility dermdapmwt and <br />imerest areas for dealing with private water and <br />wastewater system problemsin areas without public <br />water and sewer service. <br />
