She said the council recommended Kevin Mason for his <br /> 14 experience and the diversity he would bring to the council. She said the other applicant already <br /> 15 serves on another board. <br /> 16 Tara May said Kevin Mason would be appointed as an at-large member since he does <br /> 17 not live in Cedar Grove. Tara May reviewed the advisory board policy, which allows for <br /> 18 appointing a member to a board if they do not live in the area required since the position was <br /> 19 vacant for more than 6 months. <br /> 20 Commissioner Bedford said the council is majority male, and suggested Natalie Ziemba <br /> 21 for the position. <br /> 22 The Board agreed by consensus to appoint Natalie Ziemba to the Orange County Parks <br /> 23 and Recreation Council. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 15. She said this is why no commissioner currently volunteers to be on the board. <br />
