Applicants <br /> 21 will be selected from our county "Applicant Interest List" for a condensed training and if <br /> 22 the applicant successfully completes the training, they would be recommended for <br /> 23 appointment. Therefore, when an applicant is recommended for appointment, it would <br /> 24 initially be for a one-year preliminary term and their training will have already been <br /> 25 completed. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Chair Price reviewed the process for making appointments. She said the Board would <br /> 28 have the opportunity to discuss making changes to the process. <br /> 29 Tara May introduced the item. <br /> 30 Commissioner Bedford nominated MaryLou Gelblum for appointment to the Adult Care <br /> 31 Home Community Advisory Committee. <br /> 32 The Board agreed by consensus. <br /> 33 Commissioner Fowler asked for clarification on the appointment of a different member of <br /> 34 the committee. <br /> 35 Tara May clarified the expiration date for the member. <br /> 36 Tara May said there will be a future appointment consideration to this board when the <br /> 37 applicant completes his training. <br /> 38 <br />
