V 4 <br />Purpose: During review of four Telecommunications Tower applications under the <br />recently adopted amendments, a few minor inconsistencies have become apparent to <br />applicants, the staff, the consultant and attorneys. These minor amendments are <br />intended to clarify those inconsistencies to provide a better understanding of the various <br />aspects of the review process. Also included in these amendments is a revision of the <br />intent, scope and use of the Master Telecommunications Plan (MTP) concept which was <br />adopted as a placeholder in the ordinance pending future BOCC review and approval. <br />D. TEXT AMENDMENTS TO THE ORANGE COUNTY SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS <br />Amend section IV -13-3. Streets, to consider requiring bicycle facilities, sidewalks, <br />and common access points concurrent with development projects that abut or <br />adjoin roadways with approved access management plans. <br />Purpose: To more effectively address the transportation impacts and multi -modal aspects <br />of development projects. <br />2. Amend section V -D. Final Plat. <br />Purpose: To update certifications that are outdated, to add a certification and an <br />endorsement for the Schools Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance, and to add statements <br />for water and sewer endorsements; also minor changes related to process and procedure <br />and information to be shown on final plat. <br />Changes may be made in the advertised proposals that reflect debate, objections and <br />discussion at the hearing. <br />Accommodations for individuals with physical disabilities can be provided if the request <br />is made to the Director of Planning at least 48 hours prior to the Public Hearing by calling <br />the appropriate number listed below.
