This should prevent inbound traffic from queuing back from the site driveway
onto Old NC 86.
A Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) report was prepared by Kimley -Horn and Associates, Inc.
?J, z11 study intersections were expected to operate at acceptable levels of service under
p.m. peak hour build out (1998) conditions. Unless significant traffic growth has occurred
in the study area sincc 1998, all study intersections would be expected to operate at
acceptable levels of service in 2003 with the expansienlrenovations to the existing site.
Although it is anticipated that the SECU expansion and additional drive - through window
will increase traffic generated by the site, the increase in traffic is not expected to be
significant.
Please note that these comments are based on a preliminary review of the site plan and are
not based on our analysis results. A more detailed analysis of the trip generation and
,,atersection operations would be necessary to validate the preceding comments and
observations.
If you have any questions, please Contact me at (919) 872 -0180 x 110.
Sincerely,
RAMEYKEM„P & ASSOCIATES, 'NC'
Rynal G.
