Electrical engineering: <br />28 - Electronic Safety and Security <br /> <br />Designer Portion of Project <br />Pursuant to the project scope, Designer Disciplines will be limited as follows: <br /> <br />HVAC: <br /> <br />Overview <br />A. Design limited to within the extents of the project area, unless noted otherwise herein. <br />B. Design shall include air handling and heat transfer systems. <br />C. HVAC controls design. <br />D. Design of HVAC site utilities by the Consultant shall be limited to: <br />1. NONE. <br />Features <br />A. New HVLS fans <br />B. New dehumidification units <br />C. Add control to existing exhaust/makeup system <br />D. Add DDC monitoring of temperature and humidity of existing <br />E. Extension of existing building controls (DDC) (existing capacity assumed adequate). <br />F. Extension of existing building controls (DDC) (existing capacity assumed adequate). <br /> <br />ELECTRICAL: <br /> <br />Overview <br />A. Design of electrical site utilities by the Consultant shall be limited to: <br />1. NONE. <br /> <br />Features: <br />A. Extension of existing power system/service (existing capacity assumed adequate). <br /> <br />Excluded Services <br />The Designer and Owner understand and agree that the list below represents services that are specifically excluded from the Designer’s scope <br />of services in this Agreement. Furthermore, the Owner assumes all responsibility for adequately providing for these services should they be <br />required for successful completion of the Project. <br /> <br />A. Architectural design. <br />B. Hazardous Material Identification. <br />C. Hazardous Material Design. <br />D. Structural design. <br />E. Fire sprinkler design. <br />F. Plumbing design. <br />G. Design of emergency/stand-by generator system. <br />H. Design of voice reinforcement wiring/equipment. <br />I. Design of security CCTV and/or intrusion detection wiring/equipment. <br />J. Design of electronic access control wiring/equipment. <br />K. Design of audio-visual wiring/equipment. <br />L. Design of telecommunications-data wiring/equipment. <br />M. Design of emergency responder radio coverage system (ERRCS). <br />N. Design of lightning protection. <br />O. Special inspections as defined by Chapter 17 in the NC Building Code. <br />P. Commissioning or commissioning design <br />Q. Coordination with commissioning agent <br />R.
