Title VI Program Report <br /> PURPOSE: To: <br /> • Conduct a public hearing on the North Carolina Urbanized Area Formula grant application <br /> by Orange County Transportation Services (OCTS) for FY 2022; <br /> • Approve the grant application which includes the resolution previously adopted by the <br /> Board authorizing the applicant to enter into an agreement with the North Carolina <br /> Department of Transportation (NCDOT); and <br /> • Authorize the County Attorney to review and complete the necessary 2022 certifications <br /> and assurances when they are received (2021 versions attached as examples). <br /> BACKGROUND: Each year, the NCDOT Public Transportation Division accepts requests for <br /> operations and administrative needs for county-operated Urbanized Area Formula Grant <br /> applications. OCTS is eligible to make an application for both operations and administrative <br /> funding.
