Call to Order <br /> Kim Piracci called the meeting to order at 7:32 pm. <br /> II. Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> None. <br /> III. Approval of DRAFT Minutes from April 12th, 2021 <br /> Motion by J. Eichel; seconded by V. Beattie; none opposed; motion passed. <br /> III. CFE Activities -2021 <br /> CFE discussed current activities with a brief status update for each item. <br /> IV. Climate Action Tax Fund-Round 2 <br /> B. Bouma presented and discussed expectations and the timeline for review and ranking <br /> of these FY applicants for the Climate Action Tax Fund grants. The CFE members voted <br /> (unanimously)to meet on August 9th to begin and allow for sufficient review of <br /> applications received over the summer. B. Ward mentioned that the Board of County <br /> Commissioners voted to divert 50% of the climate tax to the school districts: noting that <br /> this was a departure from the original purpose of serving the poorest in our county. B. <br /> Bouma stated schools would go through the same vetting process as every other grant <br /> applicant. It was decided that this be discussed at a later meeting <br /> V. CFE Sub-Committee Breakouts <br /> The CFE split up into breakout rooms for their respective sub-committees; Air and <br /> Energy, Water Resources, and Land Resources. <br /> VI. Updates and Information Items <br /> C. Hirni presented information and updates regarding the Buckhorn Area Study and <br /> BOCC review on June Ist <br /> VII. Adjournment <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
