The Solid Waste Advisory Board <br />presented its report and recommendations an this subject to the Board of Commissioners in <br />early 2003. This November 20 work session will provide the Board with an opportunity to <br />discuss its preferred direction far implementing a supplemental revenue mechanism far the <br />County's highly successful reduction and recycling programs, which lead the state of North <br />Carolina with a per capita reduction since 1992 that has surpassed 40 percent, <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: As outlined in the attachments to this abstract, <br />
