40 <br /> BACKGROUND: The following appointment information is for Board consideration: <br /> NAME SPECIAL TYPE OF EXPIRATION <br /> REPRESENTATIVE APPOINTMENT DATE <br /> TERM <br /> BOCC Regular Member Partial Term 03/31/2023 <br /> Appointment <br /> SPECIAL NOTATION: The Board may consider moving a current alternate member to the <br /> vacant regular member position. <br /> NOTE - If the individual listed above is appointed, the following vacancies remain: <br /> POSITION EXPIRATION VACANCY INFORMATION <br /> DESIGNATION DATE <br /> Alternate 03/31/2023 Vacant since 03/29/2017 <br /> Alternate 03/31/2023 Vacant since 05/04/2021 <br /> Alternate 03/31/2023 Vacant since 03/31/2017 <br /> Alternate 03/31/2023 Vacant since 03/31/2015 <br /> Tara May, Deputy Clerk to the Board introduced the item. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Hamilton, to <br /> move Leon Myers, a current alternate position, to a member position for a partial term ending <br /> 03/31/2023 on the Board of Equalization and Review. <br /> Roll call ensued. <br /> VOTE: UNANMIOUS <br /> Commissioner Greene referred to the process discussed earlier in the evening, <br /> pertaining to filling the vacant Commissioner seat, and said there was no time allotted in the <br /> timeline for the Clerk to create the application and someone to harmonize the questions. She <br /> proposed changing the June 26 date to the close of business on June 22, so the 23rd can be <br /> reserved to harmonize the questions, and the Clerk can have a few days to pull the document <br /> together. She said the form can them be announced on Monday June 28t" <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Greene, seconded by Commissioner McKee, to <br /> amend earlier motion with the following dates: <br /> • Questions due by 22 <br /> • Chair and Clerk will work on application on June 23-25 <br /> • Application to go live on June 28 <br /> 12.
