As a previous member of the Orange Unified <br /> Transportation board, I bring 8 years of experience working with transportation related concerns. <br /> I plan to apply my previous experience on the board along with my active involvement in our <br /> community, to advise and make recommendations on the necessary improvements to our <br /> counties roads, sidewalks, greenways and other transportation related issues. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> I am seeking to serve on the Orange Unified Transportation board to work collaboratively with <br /> Orange County staff, DOT staff and the BOCC. In my previous role as OUTboard member, I <br /> played a key role in advocating and securing the fencing that has been installed over Orange <br /> Grove Road, making this area safer for our high school students walking to and from Cedar <br /> Ridge High School. I want to continue working towards improving our roads, sidewalks and <br /> greenways, ensuring that all Orange county citizens and visitors have safe and accessible <br /> options in traversing around our community. <br />
