Action Items to Expand Affordable Housing Incentives and Opportunities <br /> Housing and Community Development Department <br /> 1. Short-Term — Less Complexity <br /> Action Item Description <br /> 1.4 Continued partnership <br /> and coordination among OCHD staff continue to meet with Town staff to review existing and future joint efforts to promote and support affordable housing <br /> departments and with the throughout the County. <br /> towns. <br /> 1.5 Monitoring County- <br /> funded affordable To maintain deed restrictions, affordability standards etc. there needs to be increased staff capacity to monitor ongoing <br /> developments <br /> development projects that have received County funding. <br /> 1.6 Continued funding of OCHCD administers several federal, state and local housing programs to respond to residents' housing needs. Many of these <br /> County programs, particularly programs are new or have recently scaled up and have required additional staffing and resources. (For example, The Landlord <br /> homelessness and eviction Incentive Program, Rapid Re-Housing, The Emergency Housing Assistance Program, the Housing Helpline, the Street Outreach, <br /> prevention and home Harm Reduction and Deflection Program (SOHRAD)).
