My military experiences required me to listen and <br /> work with others from diverse backgrounds and experiences to lead to effective team <br /> performance. <br /> Social justice is a component of the nursing profession that I would bring to the Board's <br /> discussions as well as my experiences in working and living in highly diverse communities prior <br /> to my move to Chapel Hill in 2017. <br /> 1 have a policy background, both health policy and military policy, and am versed in the nuances <br /> of policy and analysis of policy outcomes.
