Aspiring musicians and v isual artists looking for a place to create, <br />produce, and share their work. <br />2. Aspiring artists and entrepreneurs seeking a career in music, <br />telev ision, radio, and entertainment. <br />3. Any indiv idual, organization, and corporate client looking for space <br />to hold a small niche ev ent in Downtown Chapel Hill. <br />4. Clients who need audio/v isual production serv ices or creativ e <br />direction. <br />5. Cultural collaborators across all spectrums where we find <br />intersectionality of cause and purpose to serv e our community. <br />6. Consumers of all ages, races, ethnic backgrounds, genders, <br />nationalities and sexual orientations who wish to experience and <br />support our local music, arts, and culture. <br />To meet these need VibeHouse405 will continue to: <br />1. Prov ide quality production and creativ e serv ices to our <br />clients/artists. <br />2. Prov ide Career Guidance and Instruction to our artists and <br />community. <br />3. Prov ide Creativ e art, studio and Ev ent Space to our community as <br />well as programming and promoting our own ev ents. <br />Our location has hosted ov er 8 v isual artists and their works for <br />Chapel Hill ArtW alk, prov iding a gateway for sev eral of which that <br />went on to bigger gallery shows and notoriety such as v isual artist <br />Anthony Patterson and photographer Jade W ilson. Known for the <br />talent we work with, this past year VibeHouse sponsored liv e music <br />stages and curated music talent for the North Carolina State Fair <br />HomeGrown Music Fest, Durham Art of Cool Festiv al, Chapel Hill <br />Festifall, Beats and Bars Hip Hop Festiv al, as well as talent <br />showcases at Cats Cradle, Local 506, as well as our Grammy <br />Showcase, and BET Awards Showcase in Los Angeles. Ov er the past <br />2 years, our clients/artists hav e released 8 albums produced and <br />recorded by VibeHouse405, resulting in 4 North Carolina Music Award <br />nominations. <br />North Carolina’s <br />“stay at home” order <br />(Executive Order <br />117) had a profound <br />impact on the arts <br />sector. Describe the <br />specific steps your <br />organization took to <br />comply with <br />Executive Order 117. <br />Our location had been closed for the last 8 months which we recently <br />renov ated to include the entire top and bottom floor at the 405 W . <br />Franklin St. building. W e grand reopened with an ev ent at the end of <br />February. Start of March, we hosted our first paid ev ent for K97.5fm. <br />A week later, Cov id hit and we closed down. W e hav e been closed <br />ev er since the 2nd week of March 2020. In July, we decided we could <br />not continue to pay rent at that location.
