The
selection includes limited edition artist books & artist made products,
zines, comics, art books, and rare publications to the Triangle area.
The Concern publishes special project zines, as well as a yearly art
magazine by the same name featuring local artists & beyond on a
particular topic. The curated focus of the store is on North Carolina
artists, marginalized artists, art in general, current ev ents, the
env ironment & mind expansion. Predominantly acting as an e-
commerce business, The Concern has an office-showroom at Attic
506, amongst art studios & exhibition space in Chapel Hill (for the
past 2 years) and a small selection at Lump Gallery in Raleigh (for the
past 3 years). The Concern has contributed a cultural outlet to the
Triangle area that was missing & which was my intention in starting
the project/ business. At the time when I started it, there were no
specific locations for purchasing artist-made books or zines,
specifically too not, by local artists in Orange County, nor in the
Triangle area.
DocuSign Envelope ID: D0B7E45D-3548-4D6B-BFDD-65F8890DCA11
