In legal jargon, we are an <br />unincorporated association of artists with an EIN. W e separately pay <br />rent for our studios upstairs at 102 W . King Street in downtown <br />Hillsborough. W ithin that upstairs space is a square room with a <br />skylight that has been used for community activ ities and artist <br />gatherings and exhibits since 1992, attracting a great v ariety of <br />artists and art lov ers since that time. W e hav e no employees. Of the <br />artists in our group, some are retired from other professions and <br />some still work other jobs. W e are applying as a group that has <br />created and maintained a unique art v enue in a great location. W e <br />are seeking a grant only to reimburse the rent we hav e paid during <br />the pandemic. <br />Provide a brief <br />description of your <br />pre-pandemic core <br />arts-related <br />The Hillsborough Artists Cooperativ e was founded in 1992 with a <br />mission to support artists and prov ide a v enue for exhibits and <br />community interaction.
